Prince Charles has been at the Philosopher-Juice, again

David Davis

I chanced upon this in the Times. Also, I find that Nick@CountingCats has done a good fisk of the silly old loon. Here’s a bit more detail about what the bugger said…

It’s a great pity really, for the poor British, who have striven mightily over the centuries to achieve something resembling the outer shell of a pre-capitalist-barbarian warlord-polity, but with “added freedom” and some goodish bolt-ons… This sort of social structure I guess gives comfort to some, if not most, people whose main past-time is trying to just get by while avoiding thinking too deeply about much.

But one of the goodish bolt-ons is that this model also delivers a modicum of personal liberty to the vast mass of the subjects – sadly often against their will. They will live to regret this lacuna in their perception of reality.

Now, however, although the British have at last painstakingly evolved, within this structure, the grand tradition of being able to get rid of their “king” and hire another one from somewhere else if they don’t like the first one, and so although they have now got a more-or-less-harmless strain of hereditary “Heads Of State”, the supposedly-chief male heir now proceeds to go batchy on Global Wireless Tele Vision – and he does it often as well, which is worse.

It’s all rather sad. If the concept of republicanism wasn’t so innately un-conservative and redolent of philosophical rootlessness, I might be more in favour of it for the British. I’ll have to reflect a bit.

Nice one from the Underdog

Read it here, for a good laugh at “The Righteous”. I wish they were as desperate and inept as he suggests.

Concentrating the Mind

David Davis with Michael Winning (beers)

In the last few days, we have had a lot of stuff about volcanoes. Mainly because our old friend, Iceland, has decided to do its normal thing from over the last 40-or-so-million-years, and produce large volumes of asthenosperic materials, for high-level-projection, in short order. Indeed, an even cursory look at geological maps of Iceland will show an even shorter history of eruptions than that.

The Icelanders ought to be our friends. Indeed, those of us who live here in the North West are probably more closely related to them than you can shake a stick at. But today, I thought I would type rapidly, and without too much affore-thought, about modern civilisation, economics, and (you’ve guessed it) climate change. We people of today, in “New Britain, a YOUNG COUNTRY” as the disgusting and over-grasping pig Blair put it, once, have never seen a real volcano. Nor indeed has anyone else alive today, or even whoever has been alive in the last 70,000 years or thereabouts. (We think….)

What would happen to the AGW movement, which sets out to destroy humanity on purpose, and is by way of almost succeeding now, if there was a real volcanic eruption? You knowof what I speak! The kind from a crater the size of Wyoming, and which carries on for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years? If not thousands? They could, and have done in the past. Planets, especially large and massive rocky ones close(ish) to suns, are big objects with a lot of inertia, in respect of the organisms which might cling tenuously to life on their surfaces. It’s fortunate that they’re mostly as big as they are, or we’d have other difficulties too.

Let’s suppose that Yellowstone goes belly-up, tomorrow. The odds are it probably won’t, but it could. Should we apply the “precuationary principles” to such as event, and indeed could we even do so?

Almost immediately, pretty much all the agricultural land of North America will vanish. Along with it, about half the world’s acreage of grain and other plant crops, in productivity terms. Forget the “people” – to GramscoStalinists, people who live in North America are mere dross or statistics. Unless they are Mexicans or “blacks” but that won’t help much as Mexico and New Orleans (where of course Gramscians say all “blacks” live and all are “disadvantaged”) will be under the ash too. The stratospheric dust and ash clouds will persist for years, maybe decades or centuries. No growing-land will be safe anywhere, and billions may die.

At first, GreeNazis will rejoice. Food will still be avilable, at a price, and the metrosexual kinds will eat, for a while. But the planet has about 66 days’ supply of primary foods for humans at any one time. After the “little local shops” have run out first, and the “locavores” have begun to get restive and angry about “failure of government initiatives to ensure supplies for families, workers and young people”, thngs will start to get exciting. People will start to rob for food and to rob food: Police forces, especially in the UK, will start to behave like they have been itching to for years, deploying all the guns they have been hoarding and training with, especially against “terrorists”. The familes of Police will eat tolerably well, for a time….

The sky will be a dark grey colour most of the time, and it will seem very cold, all the time. The sun will not appear to heat the air at all. Yorkshire-sized icebergs, carrying their own microclimates, will travel as far as Tenerife before melting. The Shetlands may have to be abandoned, along with their oil and gas – which will become a prized commodity. No surviving GreeNazis will dare to speak openly of “bio fuels”, for fear of being made to watch their children being lynched and eaten, before they themselves are spitted and roasted over the fire, fed by their children’s uncollected fat. Saudi Arabia might dry up completely and rains there may fail.

A small Ice Age might be triggered. Two or three thousand years, no more than that, if we are lucky: a mere blip on the paleogeological temperature record.

The precautionary Principle suggests to us two here, that we ought to do the following, given the 1,100 trillion tonnes of Oxygen depositied, for our benefit, in today’s atmosphere:-

(1) Burn as much fossil fuels as we can pump, to make concrete and steel to build as many nuclear power stations as we can fill with nuclides, as fast as possible,

(2) Pay the Chindians to mine as much coal as their hearts can spade up, to help same process,

(3) Raise the atmospheric CO2 percentage to about 1% asap (that’s nearly 30 times the present level!), to promote regrowth of plant life as fast as can be managed, given that air temperature /could/ be a limiting factor.

We might, just might, if  we did all this, now, avert a fully-major human disaster, in which billions of people will die. Ought we not to do this for the children? Afeter all, the probability of this is far higher than AGW…

Another interesting (and worrying) read

David Davis

I was idly scanning “Underdogs Bite Upwards” – as you do – earlier, and it says there that the Green Party actually want to do these things. If it was not scary – these are the kinds of people that truly believe what they say, just like we do – then it would be droll. But it’s not droll, for if they got anywhere near such a heavily-empowered State as this one, then they would really get started.

AUDI: please don’t buy one

David Davis

if I could afford a new car, then some Audis are pretty and fast. The Bugatti Veyron is nice, and it just screams “Audi” at you with its funny face. Also, I was specially impressed with a friend’s RS6 (450hp, 4.2 V8) a couple of years ago, when he got us from West Lancashire to deepest south South Wales in two hours flat, for a timed meeting (please don’t tell the Police.) But not after this:-

Don’t buy an Audi, and spread this around….

The poor Moslems should not let themselves become….

…catspaws and fall-guys for the GramscoFabiaNazis.

David Davis

The living man currently purporting to be one of the audio-voices of Osama bin Laden (who will continue to remain dead) comes out on the side of greens, dollar-dumpers, anti-Americans and other types of droid opposed to liberalism and the maximisation of energy-use to benefit humans.

This is of course no surprise: indeed, I wonder why the fellow purporting to be bin Laden did not actually orate about this matter during Copenhagen, which would have had more effect.

The effect of this voicover-tape on ordinary people who follw Islam may be the main worry. Ultimately, they and Islam cannot be the real or even a very substantial enemy of progress and emancipation for all people, although grievous harm has been done by some of them in the past in the name of destruction of secular Western liberalism and society.

I think in passing of the necessity for the medieval Crusades, for which an apology offered to existing European nations, as well as to obliterated ancient Christian countries, is long overdue – but which probably will never be forthcoming. Just like the deeply heartfelt and trans-global apology which is owed to Britain in general, and the Royal Navy in particular, over the little matter of “slavery”, which we here abolished in 1807. (Some questions to the French Government here might be in order, especially concerning Haiti and the position of slaves there after their rebellion and ejection of French colonial repressive interests…)

I also think of the frequent and partially-successful attempts by both Inperial Wilhelmine Germany and also by the Third Reich, to suborn latent Moslem enmity as an ally against “the West”. Buchan’s “Greenmantle” was partly based on fact. You could even say “it was all about oil”…..

Modern Moslems are far more in tune with Western values and liberalism than a small lunatic fringe of both “Islamists” and Western Multiculti-agitproptists cares to admit. They ought not to be taken in by stuff like “audio broadcasts”.

And so where is the fellow then? Repeated occasions of not appearing in public on live broascast media do tend to support the evidence that he is dead.

If Moslems allow themselves to be used as an anti-civilisation-weapon, then they will find themselves cast off and obliterated, as “useful idiots”, just like Lenin said about others such as Fabians and “socialists”.

This is all very nice and cosy…

…but…

David Davis says it’s a PR stunt designed to coincide with the Copenhagen religious celebration of pagan pre-capitalist neopastoralist Nazi barbarism.

3,500MWh (per year) sounds like a sexy big number. And the population of Westray is “600″. But let’s take it to bits. This is 3,500,000 Kwh. This is 1,26E13 Joules, which equates to a true duty-cycle-adjusted output of 399.6 Kw.

Let’s be generous and say 450 Kw. I can imagine Westray being fairly windy, by our standards here. (And it won’t be spinning all the time – I have taken the given figures as allowing for the wind-dependent duty-cycle.)

Then, also, it’s rather a big turbine. 220 feet tall. (What’s its service life? Anyone know? And what are the servicing costs which will apply throughout its life?)

That’s a mean year-round availability of  750 watts per inhabitant. On an island of 600-odd people, where I guess there are not that many single mothers or single male yuppies commuting by helicopter to Edinburgh or Aberdeen or Lerwick, and people live in settled conservative-type “households” of 3-5 people, this output is not ungenerous, unless everyone on Westray wants to take a powershower all at once on a windless Sunday evening in winter, when the Grid-connection (even if there is one)  is not able to provide voltage in the right direction.

I do not see much wrong in providing stuff like this for people who live in such places, unless the funding is got by the means stated (the “Big Lottery”, whatever that is – it sounds like the Urban Poor of Bootle and Battley and Brighouse have paid for this turbine, which is bad.)

But to do this for a population of 70 millions, which is what the gramscoFabiaNazis want for this island, would require an installed capacity on this maths of 1.05E11 watts. 105 Gigawatts. That’s 117,000 of the same turbines, on the same duty cycle.

And before I’m ritually disembowelled (again) by some of our readers for dubbing greens Nazis, I re-apply that term to them here, as a renewal of my vows, as it were. Anna Bramwell, the contemporary high-priestess of GreeNazism, implicitly conflated the beliefs of the actual Nazis, of (not)fond memory with those of today’s Deep greens.

Next, they came for your bread, “processed meats” and cereals…

David Davis

…”Experts said” (of course they are, of course they did.)

…and you did not speak up, for you were not a loaf, a sausage or a corn-flake

…and the gloves are really coming off now. Cold tea…

we must reheat our undrunk teas and coffees.

David Davis

Truly, if these people believe in this stuff, then it has become the secular amoralist void-filling-vulgate in place of “religion”, and they are thus purposefully-evil.

I wonder if “WRAP” is a fake-charity? Maybe it ought to be on the list.

I don’t think even the august People’s Democratic Leaders of the GDR would have dared to suggest that their slaves drink reheated coffee and tea…not as a direct instruction anyway: perhaps only owing to “capitalist-induced-shortages”, then.

Spend 30 years rubbishing Nuclear Power, then suddenly turn round

…and say to all the Orcs, GreeNazis, neopastoralists, ageing hippies and “Choice-Editors”  whom you have deliberately created, that “it is safe”.

David Davis

Then see if you are believed.

Most of us libertarians have always said it is, because it, well, er, is. Try comparing the death-toll of coal miners with that of nuclear workers and even sufferers from the after-effects of Chernobyl: Nuclear Energy still beats fossil fuels in spades for safety. But just wait for the massed protests, the sit-ins, the lying-down-in-front-of-bulldozers, that is going to happen now.

We may yet die, freezing in the dark.

Wildlife destruction: the result of neopastoral Green stalinism

Michael Winning

i like the word “neopastoral” that the Boss uses. I’ll do it some more.

If you go about, as a metropolitan Green-Nazi, hectoring country people on stuff which bugs them and their animals, and which they may not kill, they’ll do it behind your back. Badgers for example spread more TB to cattle now, than humans did to each other 100 years ago. So the best thing to do to a badger is to flatten it with a large spade, put it in a binliner, and let it go to the dustmen with the corn flake packets. Or if you’re here, just find a large bonfire or build your own. If all else fails, just run the buggers over with your tractor.

Flamethrowers are good against colonies of bats. Then you can restore your building which they were squatting in.

Look, we people want to farm and grow stuff. we don’t like being ordered to protect those beasts which get in our and your way.

(I hope thats got less typos in it, I’ve been told to be more careful!)

Climate Change, and what people really think

Update:- Good physics-based demolition of the CO2 myth over at Counting Cats….h/t the Devil

David Davis

I was intrigued just now by something Bishop Hill has done, in placing different strands of opinion about AGW and climate change generally, on a sort of Johari Window.

Here it is, but do read his piece.

COPENHAGEN conference and greeNazis: preparing the world for food-rationing…

David Davis

It implies over at The Englishman’s Castle that the Global-Food-Management-Gestapo, the GFMGs (as they will now henceforth be known – here’s one who’s been hiding in the woodword for some time! Here’s another. They are mass-murderers who will try to invoke global food rationing and soon, starting in nations which they hate) while cleverly appearing to shoot themselves in the foot and perform what appear to be self-contradictory activities, so as to promote the effect of people wanting to minimize the importance of what they do, are actually following a clever and strategically-focussed agenda.

Surely, food is delightful, and absolute food is absolutely delightful? No?

Do follow the links of the Englishman to Lord Stern, English pigswill, and the Affair of the Coptic Pigs. If it was not frightening, it would be funny.

Very interesting, since we can’t form a government and UKIP might have done in 2010

but now it’s been busticated.

David Davis

Someones, and it’s clear that they have supporters in Westmonster, don’t want there to be an English UK Government outside the EU or GramscoFabiaNazism, and we feel that we know who they are but we can all argue. Such an administration would be a single and terrible threat.  The demolition of the BNP can be conducted by the BBC and its accolytes as is known to be how it’s done, for a false aunt-Sally has had to be made to take the blows. The BNP is a socialist pary so they can’t complain. They are being shot by their own side in public, as on Question Time, and we cannot really interfere.

The destruction of the BNP is the happening in a faraway country of which we know nothing. The Enemy-Class buggers created the BNP on purpose and quite deliberately through their “multicultural policies”, they then set it up as a Straw-Man, and proceeded to ritually attack it on the telly. The next target is UKIP which is what they were really exercised about.

There was a small chance that UKIP could do two things: (1) Get us out of the EU without a shooting-war, and (2) unwind some of the more terrifying GramscoFabiaNazi type legislation that we have now about things like cheese-rolling, pipe-cleaners, toys, food, beef, sheep, farmers, food, grain, water, electricity, money, farmers, farmland, what the bastards can grow and when, slaughterhouses, lorries, roads,  who can park where or when, how wide your hedgerow-margins can be for bats, flies, butterflies, caterpillars, beetles and other useless inedibles and so on, oh and BIRDS….

ALL BIRDS WILL HAVE TO GO

unless Richard Dawkins can convince me otherwise at the WAR CRIMES TRIAL of the RSPB since he is a good and honest man. He can be their Mackenzie-Friend.

You have to buy one of these

David Davis

I just chanced on this. It looks very fine. The Officers of the Libertarian Alliance will, naturally, be thinking of ordering some, for the Committee, but sadly funds do not run to this sort of extravagance. So it’s “theory A”, then.

This is only the beginning, they won’t stop now…

David Davis

One tends to run out of descriptive superlatives, for use to describe the depredations of the GreeNazis, and to describe what it is that they have in store for the rest of humanity. It is only slightly comforting that no nations outside Western Europe or North America are going to pay heed to them, except with machine-guns and flame-throwers. This is very good, for Man will survive, and Man will Go To The Stars, after all – involuntarily owing to the effect of the terror fo totalitarianism, rather than as we would have wished, as primary libertarians: we will fight that battle later, probably in space, so there is still hope. Although Man will not fight it from The West absolutely and by virtue of first realisation, which is sad for me.

But I guess it does not matter in the end for Man as such, for the degree of genetic variation among all humans is remarkably small for a species so old, nearly 80,000 years and counting! As Darwin unwittingly showed on the Galapagos Islands, speciation occurs astonishingly quickly.

It is, indeed, both very heartening and exciting to note that no “climate change protests” at coal-fired power staions, are oging on in Chindia or North Korea or the USSR, or even in Venezuela or France.

I really have nothing more to say about these murdering droids who clearly hate people so much that they want them to die freezing and starving in the dark. (Demonstrators, under the banner the Great Climate Swoop, included supporters of three pressure groups – the Camp for Climate Action, Plane Stupid and Climate Rush.) Except that the State which they love, since it keeps and proposes to keep such meticulous records of everyone – including them presumably – will be their ultimate downfall. It will probably sweep them up in its maw as latterly-redundant-useful-idiots, and spit them out as machine-gunned skeletons for UN “observers” to agonise over in a wasteland like the Killing Fields – except that this wasteland will be of their own creation, if other places and times are anything to go by.

But if they still persist in loving the State which appeasr right now to adhere to their energy-policies by its pronounsements, then records will exist which will enable vengeful and starving mobs of Sovereign Individuals to go after, kill, barbecue and eat the said action-stupid-rush droids. It’ll be the least we can do for them, literally. And maybe we’ll get some nitritional benefit, while we slowly starve to death in the cold.

I KNOW! Good idea – let’s BOGOF and throw the second one away right now while nobody is looking

David Davis

I can’t believe TESCO are being pressured like this.

YOU ARE FORCED TO produce…

the right amount of rubbish. Exactly, always, and no more no less than what we direct.

David Davis

Truly, the deliberate, studied and strategic wickedness of these droids knows not any limit. This is not “incompetence”, “inefficient bureaucracy”, “public sector inertia”, “political correctness gone mad”***, or any of the other apologetic terms customarily used for this mind of tyranny.

No. This is  _real_  and  _directed_  and  _planned_  tyranny, and merely a small and exactly machined part thereof.

***We MUST NEVER ever say “Political Correctness Gone Mad”. It is utterly sane and directedly evil and rationally-based as a weapon for destroying language and thought in its enemies: and it knows it.

The people who use it, use it because they passionately and rationally believe what they are saying. They are intensely and consciously dangerous to liberty and to generalised human survival, and they know that too.

Evil can be, and often is, entirely rational in its thought-processes. Mao murdered 140 million people on purpose, because, since they were in the way, he had decided it was the right solution to his problems, encountered along the path of becoming the Lord of China and later the World.

Do some thinking, Greens! (Please?)

Global warm-mongers and some light bulb jokes

How name DEFRA bureaucrats does it take to change a light-bulb?

About 165,000, and they’ve lied about it being duff.

David Davis

Christopher Booker has discovered that the ban on Tungsten incandescent bulbs is actually not legal.

Or…

How many well-brought-up young Jewish men studying Law does it take to change a light bulb?

“It’s all right my dear son, your poor old mother doesn’t mind sitting in the dark already”.

Libertarian Alliance quote of the Day No-2

David Davis

Overheard on the Sound Wireless a couple of days ago:-

Sugar is no good for you, ‘coz it’s been refined. But honey is very good, ‘coz it’s like pure.

Working on the house…

…and rushing into the garden to pee on the hungriest-looking and the most undernourished vegetables, as you do (if you know which ones are what), it occurred to me that __if__ the GreeNazis are right, and Man is Ruining the Planet, then we all ought to piss and defecate on the garden, as the limiting resource is not really energy (we have trillions of trillions of tons, plus engineers and power-stations, so they are just wanking at us the Greens are) but Phosphorus.

We ought not to simply send all our waste phoshporus (about 2 grams a day per man) down the plughole, to the water-treatment system where God knows what will happen to it (socialism or something like that): we should recycle it directly onto our food-plants.

I put it to the GramscoFabiaNazubsistence-farmers that we all ought to be given a “Phosphorus-footprint”, inside which we all ought to be compelled to walk.

They can bring in food-rationing now, with a clear heart.

More on Obama: Lockerbie, the “Scottish Government”, socialism, and tail-twisting

David Davis

Surely, this does not surprise anyone. At least President Obama and even Hillary Clinton had the grace to criticise the usurping Stalinist mountebanks who currently tyrannise poor old Scotland (I’ll reserve comment on the mountebank Scots who have tyrannised Westminster for 12 years, until later.)

I chanced to watch the Wireless Tele Vision “News” at 10.00pm last night. The adulation and celebration, positively dripping from the lips of the “Lady News Caster”, at the joy over this murderer’s release, was a sight to behold – I mean a sound to savour. I was very angry for many minutes, and could not concentrate on Max Hastings’ “Overlord” during the vital last chapter.

This is done, probably not with the connivance of the Scottish voters at all, but as an anti-Anglosphere-tail-twisting exercise on purpose. The Scottish people are in the position of the Germans in 1933: they have simply walked into a potentially great future disaster by failing to reject GramscoFabiaNazi mountebanks at an important series of elections.

All the same, this does not convince me of the necessity to keep on trying to preserve the United Kingdom. I do not really know what the majority opinion about it is currently in Scotland, but all in all it seems better for Scotland to go its own way, even, slightly comically, in Foreign Policy towards Libya and murderers therefrom. “WE” would not need “Libyan Oil and Gas” if only GreeNazis in the West did not prevent development of vast fields still available to all people, “due to Caribou” etc.

We could tell the posturing Libyan tent-dweller and his spoilt son (I bet you 9p they’re really wannabe-Lebanese: they look just like my uncles and cousins did) who I bet you also 17p (longer odds) will take over as President of Libya aka the Kim-dynasty in North Korea, exactly [with anatomical details] what to do with his blasted oil. (I’m sure the Chinese will buy it anyway.)

We like numbers, we like playing with them….

…to find the truth.

David Davis

The new Bentley Continental thing, you know, that car that the GreeNazis don’t want you to own? Well, it !”squirts out 338 grams of CO2 per Kilometer, that’s about 9 moles (a mole of it being 44 grams) at STP. Nine moles of any gas, as everyone knows, is about 9 cubic feet, give or take. You could easily get all of it into an average fridge.

So, your Bentley gives out about a fridge and a half of COs per mile. And they are complaining?

It must use, then, about a mole and a half of ordinary petrol, defined arbitrarily as nonane, per mile. And that’s the lot, even the stuff used to turn the engine over and keep it warm…About 120 grams: so what’s the beef?

Meat is murder is green power: another blogger speaks out

David Davis

We had a go at the objectively-wicked GreeNazi-VeggiStapo, the anti-supermarket and anti-electricity-for-all outfit, a while ago, here. We opined that since they contemplate electoral defeat in a few months’ time, they are trying to accelerate their program of universal death for all plebs except themselves. They can try to hit  _four_ targets at once: Tesco – other supermarkets – the very idea that you can just buy all the food you like and can afford – and electricity generation whether green or otherwise.

But the massed divisions of the Trotsko-Gorgotroid  _will_  fight back! The election _will_ be rigged  insofar as they can do so having failed to prevent it ocurring at all, for whatever “emergency reasons” they can contrive. So do _not_ be under any illusions as to who will win (it does not make a lot of difference in any case.)

Look, I know it’s not really “polite” to lift and quote wholesale from other blogs, especially friendly ones, but the quality of the drops of boiling Sulphuric Acid, aimed at our mortal enemies the veggies, the vegans, the meatless-world-pan-hominid-starvationists,  the awful and wicked writers of British State GCSE “science” “exam papers”, the sandal-wearers and the chickenshit-fermenters, that you can almost _taste_ in this, deserve wider circulation.

Here’s the great man:-

A bright and hot day today, too hot to be in the house so I’ve been playing ‘Herbicidal Maniac’ in the garden. It’s the only place you can wield sharp things without being arrested (so far). I haven’t been out there much for the last two years because the weather’s been lousy, and it shows. My patio is now a foot wider and I’ve only hacked away at one side of it. An excellent crop of grass this time though, and the slug population is thriving. It’s become quite the little nature reserve, but it’s in danger of turning into a miniature safari park if the rain continues. The pond plants need severe trimming because the fish have to swim on end at the moment but that has to wait.

Now it’s cooled down enough to sit near the computer, I find LiveJournal is working properly again. I wonder what they were meddling with last night? Anyway, time to browse the news.

I see JuliaM beat me to this one, but I laughed so much I had to comment on it anyway. It’s in the Daily Mail so have a large pinch of salt handy.

I had no idea that waste meat could be turned into electricity. I wonder how it’s done? Some years ago, I was involved with a project to ferment waste meat products to dispose of them. It came to nothing because the stench it would produce meant that nobody, anywhere, would stand for it. You think having a power station in your backyard is bad? Imagine having a meat-rotting plant installed there. So I wonder if they incinerate it, in which case it would take quite an energy input to burn such a wet product, or what else they might do. Or is it all an invention of a bored reporter? I’ve no idea.

The militant veggies are up in arms, naturally, at the idea they might be boiling their lentils using dead cow power. I don’t think it breaks any vegetarian ethics myself – the cows aren’t dying specifically to power the grid, the meat that’s being used would otherwise have ended up in landfill and nobody would have said the last rites over it. It’s past-sell-by-date meat which supermarkets would be prosecuted for selling. Unmarked mass grave or power station are the only options left to it.

See, this sort of thing is bound to happen if you a) tell people that eating meat is evil and b) insist on putting prices up to deter us slavering carnivores. The meat goes in the bin. It doesn’t get pieced back together and reanimated.

There’s something I delight in explaining to vegetarians when they tell me my bacon roll is tantamount to supporting the Highland Clearances or Auschwitz. If I didn’t eat it, how many pigs would be alive today?

Their answer: all of them.

My answer: none.

Farmers keep pigs, cows and sheep to sell as meat. That’s what they’re for. It’s a business, not a rescue centre. If everyone in the UK stopped eating meat tomorrow, every one of those animals would be dead by the day after. They can’t be shipped abroad alive so they’d be on long trains of death on their way to the Spanish, French, and anyone else who’ll have them at rock-bottom prices. The only ones alive would be prime breeding stock, and they’d be out of the country faster than the human stock is coming in.

The veggie argument usually goes that once all the animals are off the land, we can grow loads more cereal crops. The thing is, large swathes of land in this country grow nothing but grass. Cereal crops are easier than animals to grow. They don’t tend to escape, and they don’t line the pockets of vets. You don’t need to pay a slaughterhouse to kill them, you just drive around in a combine and pick them up. Easy. Storage is much easier for cereal products, shelf life is much longer, and unless you’re susceptible to potato blight or mould, you’re far less likely to have to worry about disease transmission. So why do we have huge areas of grassland covered with cattle and sheep? Because nothing else grows there.

We can’t eat grass. Sheep can. We can eat sheep. It’s not a complex equation.

With no animals, we’d have mountains covered in grass and nothing else. You can’t even build on them because they’re not in pleasant or accessible places. Without energy-rich meat products, we’d need to convert every scrap of arable land to ceral production. So it’s bye-bye badgers, foxes and rabbits, bye-bye to birds, bye-bye to all wildlife because their habitat will be a wheat field now. You have an animal sanctuary? Clear it, plough it, we need the crops. Even then, the low energy yield of these products means we can’t possibly grow enough.

I suppose we could put wind farms on the unused land, with a hundred tons of concrete under each steel post, topped with a mechanism composed of toxic metals that has to be maintained and repaired and will eventually break and need replacement, using big trucks that do about five miles to the gallon and pump out pollutants into every cereal field they pass… sounds great, eh?

If the whole country decided never to eat animals again, the environment is screwed. No wildlife. No parks. No scenery. It’s not possible to feed the current population with the amount of arable land we have here. Give it a year and we’ll be eating each other. Immigrants will come here for a ‘job in a restaurant’ and never be heard from again.

So worrying about where out-of-date meat goes is nothing short of hysteria. There’s a lot of it about these days. If it really is being used to generate electricity, good. At least it’s not being wasted. At least the animal it came from didn’t die in vain. There’s no sense in blaming the supermarkets. They don’t buy stuff to throw away, they buy it to sell. If they have to throw it away, that’s a loss and they don’t like that. They aren’t doing it on purpose.

Animals die to feed me. I know it, I’ve worked with animals and watched them die. No, it’s not pleasant but I am an omnivore and that’s the way it is – if I’m going to live, once in a while, something else is going to die. Do I feel a twinge of guilt about a bacon sandwich? Nope. Pigs are omnivores too and they wouldn’t bat an eyelid if my corpse was dumped in front of them. They’d just tuck in. If I wasn’t quite dead, they wouldn’t concern themselves with EU regulations or humane killing or whether I was kosher or not. Pigs are not cuddly things, they are big and powerful and capable of being very nasty indeed. Don’t annoy them. Cows, likewise, are not friendly pets. If they don’t like you, they’ll kill you and they won’t even eat you. Just stomp you flat.

Perversely, the fact that I eat meat is what keeps those animals alive. With no meat eaters there’d be no market and hence no animals. They wouldn’t be set free to roam the land because then they’d eat crops. They’d all die.

Vegetarians be warned – if you ever succeed in eradicating meat from the menu, I’ll eat you.

I have a few bottles of Chianti and a bag of fava beans here, just in case.

The GreeNazis really are on the warpath now…

…perhaps they think that time is running out before June 2010, and that they won’t be able to complete the enslavement and destruction of The West before the Gorgroid is thrown out – always assuming that he is (we can’t discount their already well-planned attempts to rig theforthcoming General Election, as I am certain they mean to do.)

But I don’t think it’s as complicated as that. It’s just that GramscoNazi revolution feeds on itself, has to go faster annd faster towards unutterably deep wickedness, and also perhaps the buggers have merely decided it’s time to take the gloves off and show us what they really think about ordinary people’s lives, desires and objects.

David Davis

Try this, about how vegetarians are appalled at Tesco recycling meat “in a green way”, and also how they are getting at what they see as yet one more “British Institution” – the Royal Mint – for using copper from Chile.

Wind turbines: The CPRE buggers are skirting round the issue…

…of whether these objects are the product of minds which are innately evil and wicked, and are thus specifically designed to destroy liberal institutions or the means to run them, reduce populations to subsistence-farming, attenuate industrial and economic growth, and enslave, or whether they merely have “visual impact on the landscape”

…and the education issues are worse – my older boy complains at school, over /why/ they have to “study” __global warming__ as an anthropogenic effect, __every year__

David Davis

Ed Milibugger is a GramscoFabiaNazi. He is clever (didn’t he go to Oxford, blast him? Must have got three “A”s at least or even four – what a bloody waste of an intellect which he could have used in retailing or mining or space research.) Therefore, if he was not a GramscoFabiaNazi, then he would be doing a proper job in The Royal Bank Of Scotland or a factory in Leeds. Or perhaps he’d be running a small chain of successful pound-shops in East London. Brick Lane would do for a first one, then he could go into Hackney, Bethnal Green, Stoke Newington and Shoreditch and Limehouse, selling cheap goods to people who want to buy them. Then, he could set up a few in Nottingham, Leicester (better be careful there, old fella!) Derby, Sheffield, Bradford (later maybe!) Bootle (let’s have a punt on that one eh?) and so on. He’s Jewish, so he could have done anything, and thus so he ought to understand why retailing is an intensely moral and good calling, inside the Canon of Western Philosophy.

But he’s a politician: what is it that comes over very, very clever people, whose minds could match up to the scale of the Universe and try to comprehend it, and so easily corrupts them to do evil with such deeply-held conviction?

(What went wrong with the bugger? Where did we fail? Were we asleep?)

The battle about Wind Turbines (which is to say, big-corporatist-statist nationalised plans to build many thousands of vast and useless ones on other people’s land, for no valuable result) ought to be brought back to whether we are to be persuaded that “global warming” is all our fault, or whether – as we /do/ require more and more energy, the obvious solution – nuclear – is the correct one.

As a libertarian, I am not at all against individual householders and, say, people such as farmers, setting up their own wind turbine with their own money…if they decide they want one. I am sure that the same companies that fall over themselves to lick the arses of ZanuLieBorg  will make “small” turbine systems, say about 10-50Kw, for anyone who wants them. If those who say that power companies will buy “surplus power” from such private producers are honest, then we have a win-win-situation. the GreeNazis have to say they are satisfied, and those who have “small” turbines can then try to get back into the money after installing the things, if it’s possible: if not, then they do have some “free” power (Nothing of course is totally free.) Factories can produce more alternators and more spiral-wound-pipe (I expect that’s what the steel-type is that holds the things up) and everyone is happy….

….except Ed Milibanana. I wonder why?

But if the CPRE want to be a player in the ideological battle for the landscape, then they ought to stick to whether the things are any use at all, and then – knowing the facts – oppose the things on mathematical and physical grounds of truth. “Visual Impact” considerations will not turn the faces of committed political enemies of The West – like Ed Milibanana -  away from installing the turbines and using our money to do it. The CPRE has to face the facts about what these things are really for, and why they are being dumped all over us.

The Landscape of the British Isles is almost 100% manufactured and managed anyway: it got to look like that through centuries of adjustment by Man. The fact the the GramscoFabiaNazis pretend to like it as it is [for "Ramblers"], while looking as though they fail to understand how it got to be what it is through the Hand of Men for generations, is neither here nor there.

Libertarians would say that the property-owners should decide what is set up. if the State-Wind-Power-Installation-Bribery-Service  [SWPIBS] was removed (as we will, when we Come To Power) then I doubt if we will see any more of these monstrosities.

It is nothing to do with “green energy”: it is to do with trying to reduce what they believe is an enemy-civilisation (us) to the Prison Of The Endarkenment.

The Green Milibanana terror has arrived: Libertarian Alliance Empty Human Skull Award No-2

David Davis

Words fail me….for once.

…and the Politica Arm ofl Enemy-Class is one-third the size of the Army.

Word fail James Delingpole too.

And God sneezed a bit…

David Davis

…and they all fell over.

Milibanana is actually right, but now, nobody will believe him: his party has done too much damage to what he purports to support, also favours “disarmament”, and won’t buy his soldiers any kit (so that they can die.)

David Davis

Here’s the milibanana on Afghanistan. there will be more about this later after I have done chores.

More later, here it is:-

I have concluded my household wife-imposed duties, for the present.

Now then: most British  libertarians are against our being involved in wars in Asia – or anywhere for that matter. They say that the UK has no “vital interest” in that region. I disagree absolutely, and the principal proponents of the “no involvement” school of thought know this quite well.

I expect to be aggressively excoriated in the next week, as a result of this opinion, mainly by friendly libertarians, some of whom even know me. Comments from all sides will be welcome, it makes life exciting.

Although “fundamentalist Islamists”, the “Taliban”, (whatever he is – I think he publicly hung a Wireless Tele Vision Set a few years ago for capital crimes – good bloke then) and “Al Quaeda” (whatever she is – I think she has a David Frost type TV channel like Big Brother?) do represent a threat to liberal Western civilisation, and certainly a threat to its spread (which is a Crusading-Duty and an obligation laid upon us) they do not represent such an immediate short-term threat as home-grown GreeNazis.

I have spoken about these latter kinds of Green-trons before, but they will have in the end to be sorted out separately: it is a different sort of war, and more tragic, for we will have to assault or restrain our own people, who grew up with us and whom we trusted, and whom we even shagged, sometimes, because we thought they loved us for ourselves. Sex makes war and conflict harder later – ask any divorcee.

[Don't even get tempted, while drunk, to shag willing pretty hippie Green women who invite you back after a political argument which they say they enjoyed - you will live to regret it.]

However, if we leave this Taliban bloke untouched and unexterminated, then owing to the nature of state structure currently in Pakistan – and probably in other neighbouring outfits too in the medium term –  he will get his hands on far more powerful WMDs than he has at the moment, and our task of doing what the Milibanana says will be 1,000% more difficult. I believe that Baluchistan, a large tribal gathering of some 120 million people, struggling right now to keep some kind of writ running in parts of itself, has missiles called something like “Shitbag-3″ , or some such resonant acronym. We will, later, face the possibility of actual anihilation, as opposed to daily humiliation.

If we do nothing in Afghanistan in these next two decades, then the kind of spectacle that the BBC is pleased to send you, underlining its policy-position that you should “get out” (and join places like the USSR – a failed state –  in ignominy) will be amplified a hundredfold: in Baluchistan, Kashmir, Persia and places to the North and West. Probably in Burma and Malaya too if you are not careful. India will probably hold out, and the Chinese, properly unscrupulous in the /correct sense/ of the word, will stand no nonsense in Tibet and other near places.

Milibanana’s problem as Foreign Secretary (is he still?) is that he knows what is being fought for as he in an intelligent man. He’s even a Jew, for f***’s sake – so he ought to know what I and he and our enemies are talking about. However, his entire policical historiography, and his whole educational upbringing,  is based in the belief about the iniquitousness of Western liberal Classical civilisation, and how it must be aborted and attenuated at all costs, as he is a paid-up GramscoFabiaNazi.

It’s not what he can’t say, that I compain about – it’s the way he can’t say it.

He can’t say, in front of his masters, that this war is a small, tragic and necessary part of the defence of Western Civilisation, for his masters in the GramscoFabian movement won’t allow it to be said on the Wireless Tele Vision.

Because he can’t now, any more, fall back on the simple truth – which is outlined above – he has to appear to panic at the severe (by our standards today…!…think of the Somme – 19, 247 killed on 1st July 1916 alone…) loss of life among British Soldiers – some of whom might even have been his constituents. He has to put, hastily and desperately, some sort of manichaean gloss on what is by our standards really bad news. He can’t, in fact, bury it, much as he’d love to: he has to say something approximating to the truth, but he can’t put it the way it ought to be. (He’s also terrified of what he thinks “Muslim voters” will do to his party at home here…but he need not be, for as I said, the British GreeNazis are far, far more potentially lethal to him and to us than anything Islam could even dream of.)

As regards, too, the sad fate of the eight British soldiers who died in one day just now, there could be a remedy.

British modern people are not accustomed to these kinds of Wireless Tele Vision reports. Every death is an individual sorrow for the man’s family. From this there is no escape.

We are not like Stalin, the archetypal Mark-III-GramscoFabiaNazi personified, who said famously “one death is insignificant”, but being ideologues like him we knew what he meant – that did not make him right however. We deplore both the deaths and also the effects of these deaths on the political morale of the UK. (OK some of us are at leats minimal-Statists and we think the British got it least wrong in terms of defining stateness…) Charges could be laid of course at the door of the present UK government, for both hating the Armed Forces for what they represent and for their ethos of loyalty to what they undertook to do.

But in the end, this Taliban bloke is getting his munitions form somebody. That somebody can’t be far away or we might have noticed. Perhaps it’s Russia. I would not evince surprise, as their governments always cheat and lie (more fool the Russian people for failing in the last 30 years to resist more, when they could.)

But perhaps it’s not Russia. I also don’t think it’s China or Japan or India or Iran or Korea or South Africa, or Israel, or Pan-Arabia, and the like.

The point of having Nuclear weapons is to be able to point them, in public of course, at someone that is upsetting your foreign policy objectives – providing he does not have either any, or as many as you do. Therefore, whoever is supplying this Taliban man with his IEDs, and thingies that blow up Land-Rovers, ought to be able to be threatened. Otherwise, there is no point in having sumbarines that can deliver such a weapon to anywhere in the world, form anywhere unknown.

I can’t really see whay we could have any problem in stopping these unpleasant deaths among our soldiers, whose only mission is to peacefully protect the longer-term-future-survival of Western liberal Civilisation.

Like we did over eradicating slavery, for about 200 years [ - AND we had to apoligise -  we WILL get you GramscoFabiaNazi bastards...one day...and you WILL pray to be sorry, and we will not let you.]

Liberals like us want to be merciful people, but the quantity of mercy (strained or unstrained) that you will now require, when we find you finally, has become too great for the market to provide – so you will have to make do with what will be available.

You yourselves, GramscoFabiaNazis, keep on trumpeting – especially in your text books for students – that “the market” “distributes goods and resources imperfectly”…so now you can eat your own words at last.

Lovely stuff over at The Englishman’s place

David Davis

Do, please, go and split your pants at the wit of the commentators.

The Moonbats complain about people like us, who love to do what we do about “global warming, for no money, because we believe we are right. Their problem is that they’re not only piss-poor unamusing writers with better educations then ours, and who should therefore know better how to do it: they are also in the wrong, and know it.

The Libertarian Alliance “Empty Human Skull Award”, No-1

Given weekly, from now on, for “The most dangerous person on the planet”. Primarily for

“services to the Human Race that will lead directly or indirectly to its rapid extinction in geological time terms.”

Awarded today to Beth Stratford.

These people really are dangerous, much much worse and “more serious” than the Taliban (whatever he might be) or “Islamic Fundamentalists”. The latter can be cured 100%, with $20,000 each plus a sexy “Palestinian” girl and a 4-yr-old Golf GTI. I estimate that $100 million and 5,000 chicks would crack the “war on terror” – and the government’s old-car-scrappage-scheme can provide all 5,000 cars for about another $15 million.

The Beth Stratfords can’t be fixed so simply: they really believe what they are saying, unlike the former.

The dollars the Stratford-types already have: the girl won’t do it for them (I don’t blame her) and they (say they) don’t like cars. So we are temprarily stuffed for a bribe. Suggestions, any one?

[ITEM: http://greenhellblog.com/ added to bog-roll. And this is a frightening one from them, which I confess I didn't know about.]

More stuff that you’d like to know about the great wind(bag) turbine flim-flam-scam

David Davis

This is illuminating and very explanatory, at The Englishman’s Castle.

I have often had my suspicions about these false idols and phantasmal creations.

The GramscoFabiaNazis really are trying, on purpose, to freeze and starve us to death in the darkness. Perhaps they want our surviving children as sex-toys like Mao-tse-Tung ["tell her to bring me some tea"]: or perhaps they are just bored with having to ramble “in the countryside” among too many other people in a landscape that appears to be managed and have purposes that are the reault of the work of others, like Hitler: or perhaps they reall believe what they are saying , like that tormented chappie Madeleine Bunting or that strange woman Georgette Monbiot – I think it’s the last of these three, but it does not exclude them thinking the first two things too.

The buggers really think we are wrong: so wrong that we have to be eliminated as a population. In a way, it’s quite exciting to find oneself in such a manichaean struggle, so near the end of one’s life too, when we thought the Berlin Wall had fallen and we had it all sorted! But then again, it’s a bore and it’s tiring and it costs – lives and money, and resources which the planet [which means mankind] could use better, to fight these bloody people all over again.

Presenting a predictable piece of piss

David Davis

The UK is the world’s “74th happiest country”, from a survey based on “inequality” and a nation’s “carbon footprint”.

Well, there you are. And Burma, a tyrannical collectivist autocracy, comes 22nd.

Dolphin-types not so nice and cuddly after all: socialism as baby-killing, and the banning by a school of black-faced border-Morris-Dancers

David Davis

Nature is (as my old-fella used to say) is “red in tooth and claw”. I can’t ever seem to figure out why the lefty-Nazi-conservationist-neopastoralist-barbarians always idolise the worst and most bloodridden predators.

Well may you squeal, neocon! Ill get you next time...

Well may you squeal, neocon! I'll get you next time...

…Or do they somehow recognise their own kin?

Here’s a new meme:-

“Socialism is de-civilisation and baby-killing”.

Here’s the de-civilisation bit. A Kent school has disinvited Morris Dancers of a tradition in which you black up your face with charcoal, as a disguise.

Buy this book now

David Davis

I am obliged to The Englishman’s Castle ticket-office-and-souvenir-bookstall, for flagging up this book, which we all ought to buy a number of copies of and force our GreeNazi friends to read.

MPs and social death: how many more?

David Davis

One has to wonder who’d want to be an MP these days, after all the moolah-hoo-hah. Certainly Geoff Hoon, whose name has spawned a new pejorative (I always said – from 200 onwards – how could one give a job to someone called Hoon? It, the act of hiring someone called that, defied logic and rationality) and Alastair “Eyebrows” Darling, would want to hang their heads for the rest of their lives at Toynbee Hall.

Perhaps there were fault-lines in the “system”? Or perhaps there were not, and someone clever went along and told all these guys what they could do, and get away with? But either way, the MPs set it up themselves.

I don’t think MPs ought to be paid. Anything. Nothing at all. Then we’ll only get the right type. Prince Philip would do, so long as he agreed to spank Charles every day thereafter, for gassing on mindlessly and hysterically about the rainforest.

Oh, and as I am an upside-down-Gramscian, lefty pop singers and their wives, and anybody at all who supports AGW, need not be selected either. Given the choice, Constituency Associations, who would have to be either shopkeepers, or any other sort of Masterless Men, would probably give them a wide berth naturally.

Yesterday I said that Thierry Djanogly (a footballist?) whatever he is called, should have his gates, because in the coming socialist-driven-wished-for-endarkenment, then we all should, as this is “fair”. Here is another idea.

David Davis

Whoops has hit on what I’d say was an unlooked-for advantage of high-rise tower blocks, in the coming Endarkenment.

(Here’s what I said about Thanogly-Djanogly. Perhaps he ought to be a foot ball-ist, with a name like that, not a politician? Look, he needs his gates, ‘coz people don’t like him, or else he thinks they don’t.

But you’d better hope your assaulters have not got artillery of any kind, I suppose. That the lifts might be put out of action by it, is the least of your worries! What if the building falls “at terminal speed”? (Load of pilotsfortruth9/11.org crap). How will you get out?

How about a Motte-and-Bailey castle, or better, a proper one, or even the really really strategically-focussed ones, such as was built by Edward I, like this one? (It’s about two and a half hours down the road from here on Richard Brunstrom’s cameraed-roads.) This was his contracting-engineer.

There’s still time to buy something if you have the dosh. Sell your yacht. Now, and take it in cash, gold or silver bullion (not “money”).

Anna Bramwell (who he?), environmentalism, and fascism

David Davis

Scary, scary stuff.

It confirms all I have ever suspected about GreeNazis and environmentalists.

I am indebted to davidncl for pointing to it, somewhere else, I think on Mr Eugenides, somewhere on his comment thread for this piece here.

I just designed yet another picture today, I think you’ll like it:

cARBON POSITIVE

The Miliplanter and pot plants: what a business, eh? And a rant about leftyism and surly (I meant to type curly)-headed black-haired actors in Georgian jackets…and that’s just the men.

David Davis

First people query your expenses, which you have taken so much trouble to get to be defined as “within the rules”, and then you die.

POT PLANTS…. Jesus H Christ, you really just  __have to__  laugh at these people. The Miliplanter is clearly not serious at all.

It’s a tremendously fun hoot actually – I mean, just look at this prize piece:-

ur files also how Jack Straw, the Justice Secretary, over-claimed for both his council tax and mortgage bills.

Alistair Darling, the Chancellor, is revealed to have changed his official “second home” designation four times in four years.Meanwhile, the Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, spent so much on pot plants at his constituency home that his gardener questioned whether they were necessary “given [the] relatively short time you’ll be here”.

Meanwhile, as we say ‘ere, ” ‘yer-av-ta-luff”. (Also, “Icelandtalks” seems to have linked to us, somehow, I can’t tell how..but… Hi there, welcome to Gordon Brown’s world of terrorist banks. eh?)

See our earlier today piece about socialists and trough-pigging. I mean, if They-Stalinists would just stick to sex, I would not mind so much. The problem of today is that they try to shyste so much money. Money costs. Sex is free.

Sex is actually quite nice, and nobody gets killed (see Pol Pot) as any self-respecting proper Tory Toff will be able to tell these jumped-up-University-lecturers. You go out, you call in one of the cow-girl-daughters of one of your more taciturn and upright Yeoman-retainers – mind that you choose the one with pretty boobs and hips so it’s quick for you and her and nicer for you (make sure __also__ that she’s the one that won “Miss Best Bum” at the last “harvest-maid-fete”) – you shag her in the 6th upstairs-bathroom while the Lady of the Manor is instructing the Servants Below Stairs on flower-arranging, and you then just tell her to go back to her duties. Quite simple, she’s all right, you’re all right. If she has the brass-neck to produce a child, then you get it “avowed” by one of the young men who live in one of the hovels near hers, and you’re sorted. No money needs to change hands.

Expenses problem solved: there aren’t any.

Socialism, eat your heart out, you never got a system like that did you.

But Karl Marx f*****d his wife’s maid, and their son worked for the Great Northern Railway, blamelessly for many years. Michael Caine says not a lot of people know that.

Perhaps the dude Marx was a Conservative after all.

LEFTIES! D’you really think we live like that? No, I thought not. Then stop the BBC doing those awfully naff Thomas Hardy-type costume-dramas, and selling the twattish rubbish round the planet to traduce us.

These dudes are far more dangerous than deeply-respected scholars wearing silly hats, and…

…we have not seen the last of them yet.

David Davis

GreeZanis and AmilaR-nights-scumbags probably represent the largest single danger to ordinary civilisation in The West. The Muslims have been set up as a stalking-horse, to divert real anger from these other guys instead. They should rebel amd perhaps seek damages from this administration.

If the G20 Moochers and Slairs would only stick to this sort of public schmoozing, and leave the rest of us poor sods alone to get on with it, the wordl would rapidly become….

….a better place.

David Davis

Look at this. Really, it’s all very nice and cosy and innately harmless. One is still – despite all that has occurred since, er,well, the beginning of times when one man thought he could enslave and corrupt the will of another – inclined to believe that even these G20-buggers, like the huggers below, are human beings after all.

aaaahhhhhh.....blessss....!

aaaahhhhhh.....blessss....!

Minimal-statist type libertarians are not in principle against nations deciding to have some sort of titular “Head of State”, if that is what they want, provided that everyone agrees what the limits of authority of such an outfit under Common Law are beforehand, and _provided that_ everyone stays awake sufficiently for those limits to _be observed_ , and _be observed permanently_ . It is dangerous to allow a “State” to deirect, or even have the slightest hand in influencing, things such as “education” or “broadcasting”, if these conditions are to be met. Look at what has happened to ordinary and necessary qualifications for teenagers, for example under modern socialism in the UK, or to the propagandising output of the British State television braodcaster.

The present lot of outfits have clearly got out of hand, are rampaging drunk with power, and ought to be brought to heel. The malign influence of pre-capitalist barbaric anti-guides to survival, such as socialism, cannot be forgotten here.

In a Classical Liberal market civilisation, i suppose it would be perfectly all right for people to dress up as “Heads of State”, jet off to somewhere or other expensive, and pretend to have a “summit”. They could exchange ritual gifts of no value to anyone but each other, such as personalised I-Pods or silver framed photos of their dogs.

Moreover, being all bloggers by necessity, they could even issue “Joint Communiqués”. These would most probably give details of the joints they smoked while together as they will all undoubtedly be superannuated GreeNazis, ageing hippies, GramscoFabiaNazis, sad socialist,s and other varieties of worthless CO2-exhaling scumbag (although rich. Libertarians have “nothing against people getting filthy rich”….aka Tony Blair etc.) Or they might refer to statements of intent to regulate things such as “banks”….The great joy of such an arrangement is that nothing bad would come about as a result of their junketings.

…..and did “EARTH HOUR” make any difference in California….

David Davis

It’s seven minutes into Earth Hour, so we have turned on all the lights.

I hope you have too.

Libertarian Alliance stalinist quote of the day

Ed Miliband, the Energy Secretary, who this week described opposition to wind farms as “socially unacceptable . . . like not wearing your seatbelt or driving past a zebra crossing”.

BEST SONG EVER!!!!

Peter Davis

I happened to stumble apon this Hugely funny website on the internet here. Let’s all make a point today to annoy the Asse-Hat, who’s weeping into his communion wine somewhere, about the planet…

Are the C of E pagan earth-worshippers yet?

Are the C of E pagan earth-worshippers yet?

The video on it is hilarious, everyone has to watch it…

…or else.

And to ”Fred Bloggs”, would you kindly post something that could be better than this!

Bloody hell! I thought the RSPB was a charity, until I discovered Wind Turbines.

David Davis

This is shocking and obscene. I’ve filed it under pornography.

What I thought was a charity about birds and wildlife, but is probably a quango instead, has a “Climate Change Policy”……

Here’s an extract:-

Ruth Davis, head of climate change policy at the RSPB, said the charity was promoting the development of wind power because the evidence of the increasing impact of global warming on birds was “truly terrifying”.

“Left unchecked, climate change threatens many species with extinction.

“Yet that sense of urgency is not translating into actions on the ground to harness the abundant wind energy around us.”

She said the solutions were largely common sense, including a clear lead from government on where wind farms were built and clear guidance for councils on how to deal with applications.

here’s another extract:-

The Government must step in to provide a clear lead on developing wind farms more quickly without damaging wildlife or alienating communities, the RSPB urged.

Make up your own mind what these people are for.

Climate Change….Oh, I understand! It’s a religion!

David Davis

The effing greenazis have really coined it this time. Struck gold they have. I think this is a pre-April-1 windup but I cannot be sure…….Now, you can claim for unfair dismissal if your bosses (capitalist runningdogs and lackeys of the Boss Class, so they all are of course) are not sufficiently committed to fighting global warming. You cna get dosh off them, while even being fired so you can throw green custard at Peter Mandelson.

Just throw the green custard, love. We’ll hoover up after. (I think PM took it quite well though, the dear fellow.)
