Very interesting historical talk.
I’ve never quite understood how the Americans can maintain that poor old George was a ‘tyrant’ or that the American colonies were groaning under the burden of overtaxation and despotism. They know it isn’t true and yet they still vigorously maintain it.
A curious and interesting case of doublethink.
