Tha Man on the Stage Really Does Know Best

Michael Winning

Im old enough to remember “The Man In Whitehall” so this from Samizdata amused me. Some actroid person has given his views to the American MPs and whatever  their Lords is called over there, well so what?

Got a new pedigree boar coming later today so I may be busy for a few days getting new bloke settled in. Pigs are brighter than politicians I think. Have to show him which ones his new wives are. One at a time I think.

Must remember to ask some film stars about pig breeding. They’ll know.

  1. Actors. Our intellectual and moral superiors.

  2. Michael also shares our astonishment at their deep wisdom and relentless pursuit of classical-liberal minimal-statism. Oh and also at their modesty.

  3. It’s not just actors, but celebrities in general. Remember Geri Halliwell’s appointment to the UN? Egotistical and vacuous, but familiar to large numbers of people. These people are ideal for the dissemination of propaganda.

    This is the whole problem.

What it reveals is significant: it shows that the UN, the GramscoFabiaNazis have willfully taken over original coalition-founded bodies, founded in all honesty for noble purposes, for just these nefarious purposes.

And it shows that the Political Enemy-Class is purposefully setting up the assembly-line-construction of “celebrities”, so as to have an inexhaustible supply of ready-made, recognisable “mouthpieces”, individually worshipped for their (real, and very own) televisory properties of mass-recognition, and who are also not clearly associated with the Enemy-Class itself: this is for the dissemination of untruths.

It even might show that, like Morgoth made Orcs in willful corruption-mockery of Elves, the Enemy-Class makes innocent “celebrities” into purposefuly-wicked corruption-mockeries of “individuals”.

“Celebrities”, after all, are only individual human beings who have an unnaturally-burning-desire to be “famous”. They could be classed as “vulnerable people”, and indeed could be covered by all sorts of currently-enforced GramscoStaliNazi “laws” about such persons, under which a British Libertarian Government could put away politicians and “social scientists” for very very very long Prison Terms.

  5. And if anyone thinks you’re nuts after reading what you’ve just said, tell them to tune into the X-factor, which is a sort of parody (or perhaps more accurately, a refinement) of the whole process. Squealer has nothing on these pigs, beceuse they are too ignorant to waste their time even considering any possibilities beyond their own metaporical autocues. Ignorance truly is strength, at least in this instance.

I bow to your superior Tolkien knowledge, I’ll have to get around to reading the Silmarillion sometime myself!

Are there not too many orcs for them to be represent celebrities though? Would the orcs not be more likely to be public sector workers? How about the celebrities collectively being represented by Wormtongue? Saruman as the Quisling Right?
